Pete is a photographer based in Winona, Minnesota. He consider his photographs as works in progress. Pete uses the interaction between light, subject and the camera to craft images that capture moments in time. When he succeed, the images ignite powerful emotions in the viewer.
Pete is excited to learn everything related to photography and has not limited himself to any specific style or technique. Pete is always looking for challenges and opportunities to create.
Pete grew up in Madison, Wisconsin and spent 30 years living in Prescott, Wisconsin before relocating to Winona. In his time near the Twin Cities, Pete worked as an environment and safety professional for CHS Inc. He still treaches OSHA requirements and compliance auditing a few weeks every year.

Tom Gillaspy
Poet
Tom spent his professional career immersed in numbers, although his hobby was writing poetry. While Tom did write some poetry starting in high school, he did not share this with anyone until he was about 60 years of age.
Since then, Tom has published four collections of poems, a children’s book, edited a collection of stories by 8th-grade students in rural Kenya, and wrote the poetry for a musical piece for organ, percussion, and spoken word, entitled, “Shade In A Parched Land.” He coordinates a weekly poetry class via Zoom, which began the first week of the pandemic, and he has taught classes on poetry appreciation and writing.
Tom Gillaspy grew up in Houston, Texas and moved to Minnesota from Los Angeles 41 years ago. Tom holds a PhD in Economics from Penn State University and served as Minnesota State Demographer for 33 years. Now retired, he loves Minnesota in all its seasons and enjoys outdoor activities, including canoeing, hiking, gardening and just walking in the woods. He and his wife, Cathy, live in Stillwater, Minnesota.
